The aesthetic aspect of straightening teeth is usually of particular importance for our adult patients, because very few people want their braces to be visible from the outside. For example, the lingual technique for straightening teeth is a popular method, whereby the brackets are attached to the inside of the tooth and are therefore not visible to other people. Invisalign®, the virtually invisible braces, allow teeth to be straightened by means of transparent splints that can be clicked onto the teeth and removed at any time.
